Body Armour

This body armour prop was a rush job which only took a few weeks to complete from start to finish. A robust, adjustable, under layer was custom tailored to allow for the secure mounting of multiple armour plates and hardware. The plates were cut by laser, molded in silicone, then cast in a durable black rubber resin. Three versions of the vest were made, one of which was modified for stunt use. Props almost as good as the real things! This was a Miniature Effects job which I was contracted to work on. I assisted with the majority of all component fabrication, assembly, and finishing.
